LO4/A Persistence in the Gym
As odd as it sounds, I became extremely interested in body-building. I thought it was incredible how someone could achieve such a muscular and lean physique lifting weights. Aspiring to be like one of these bodybuilders, I made a promise with myself to start going to the gym. This is a promise that I have kept for the past 7 months. In June, I started to go to the gym four times a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. When I started lifting, I was motivated because I was excited to start developing a muscular and lean physique like some of the bodybuilders I liked. However, that motivation quickly faded after realizing how much work it truly was to stay consistent with going to the gym. Since I would go to the gym after school, I was tired from all of the work I was doing. Although, knowing the promise I made with myself in June, I kept going.
