LO5/C Learning About Different Religions
T his past Sunday I went to my Sunday School as normal. I logged into the class expecting to help the 9th-11th graders with the activity we were doing today. Although, when I joined the call, we were doing something different. Once I joined there were people from another religious school that practiced Islam. One of the large parts about our Sunday School is reaching out and learning about other religions in our community. With this being said, today we were learning about the Islam religion. In fact, Islam is quite similar to Judaism as they are both monotheistic (belief in one G-d). Moreover, there were kids my age, younger than me, and older, that are all part of a different religion. Once we all introduced ourselves, we took turns talking about our religion. People part of my Sunday School used their strength (including me) to talk about the Jewish religion.
