LO7/A Walking with My Friends

A couple weeks ago, I was quite bored and decided to see if some of my friends wanted to go walk around somewhere. Mainly to just get exercise and get out of the house. I ended up calling two friends, and they both said they could come. I then asked my parents if my friends could come over, and they talked about how I should be super cautious about the virus. I told them I was going to be careful by wearing a mask and staying six feet apart. I then waited for my friends to arrive so that we could start walking.

Once everyone got to my house, we began our journey. I told my friends right at the beginning of the walk that we needed to be careful of the virus. They agreed, and we went on to stay six feet apart with our masks on. We ended up talking a lot about what everyone had been doing since we hadn't seen each other. After a little while, we decided we were hungry and walked to Chipotle (more than a mile walk). When we got to Chipotle, we ordered our food, and then went to go sit outside because I didn't want to have my mask off in an enclosed area with a bunch of other people. When we got outside, we all helped to grab tables and chairs so that we could sit and eat. I made sure that the tables were six feet apart so we wouldn't be at risk with our masks off. After Chipotle, we walked back to my house and my friends left. As one can see from this story, my ethics consisted of staying safe during times of the pandemic. I made the choice of keeping my mask on and staying six feet apart. Staying safe during these times is important as I don't want to contract the virus.
